Kelly Anne joins LaPorte with 21 years of Personal Lines experience working with agencies in California, Arizona, Minnesota and Oregon.  Kelly Anne started her career out working with a direct writer, which gave her exposure to a variety of insurance opportunities that she can pass along to her clients.  Kelly Anne enjoys customer service treating her clients with respect and patience. She also assists her clients in ensuring they have a strong policy with competitive pricing.  Personal Lines coverages can be confusing, and Kelly Anne takes the extra time to explain these coverages to make purchasing a policy easy and convenient.   Kelly Anne enjoys spending her free time with her friends, and puppy hiking, biking, and watching movies.

Jared joined LaPorte in 2020 with over 21 years of experience in Property and Casualty, Life and Health and Personal Lines. Jared has a loyal following of his clientele that spans the Pacific Northwest all the way to Florida. It’s important to Jared that his clients put their faith in him and that he earns their trust as an advisor. He considers it an honor and a privilege to assist his clients in making the right decisions, so it leads to their peace of mind and financial security and not financial ruin. Jared majored in both Marketing and Management and achieved a 3.6 GPA while working full time and supporting a wife and four children. This is no small feat and shows the dedication that Jared puts into everything in his life. Jared is proud of his military career and now serves in various emergency and disaster roles as a soldier for the Washington National Guard. Free time is rare for Jared but when he has it, he enjoys spending time with this wife and children, hiking, fishing or hunting in the backcountry of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Laura joined LaPorte in 2020 as a Benefits Account Manager bringing with her 15 years of industry experience.  Laura knew the insurance industry was for her, so she started her career right out of high school, working in broker settings both on the sales and service side.  Laura will be working with LaPorte’s small group clients, helping them to review and market their renewals, and advising the group of their benefit options.  Laura feels it is important to form a partnership with her clients, not only to listen and understand their needs, but to be there as a reliable resource.

When Laura has free time, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest.  She is an avid thrifter, and enjoys music, art, reading, and hiking.

Cindy joined the LaPorte Commercial Team in spring of 2022, bringing 35 plus years of commercial experience with her.  During Cindy’s time in the insurance industry, she has earned her AU, AIS and CIC designations.  Cindy has been exposed to many different lines of coverage, with Contracting and Manufacturing being her strongest lines.  Cindy feels it’s important to really connect with her clients one on one so she can help identify their unique risks and take the necessary steps to make sure they are properly covered. During Cindy’s free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends whenever possible.  

Debbie joined the LaPorte Commercial Team in 2019 bringing with her over 20 years of insurance experience.  Debbie has handled a diverse book in her career, but her focus has been large Property, Manufacturing, and Construction accounts.  Debbie understands the importance of good customer service and makes it a practice to be detailed and thorough with each policy she touches.  Debbie analyzes the account no matter how big or small to ensure that coverages are not missed.

Debbie is the proud mother of two and has two beautiful granddaughters.  She loves to travel with her significant other to the beach and they both enjoy camping and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Teresa has twenty years of experience in the Health insurance industry with the last 10 years focused on employee benefits including working on both the carrier and broker side of the business including fully insured and self-funded.  Providing day to day customer service and account management for employee benefit clients, markets/sets up existing and/or new accounts business and takes a consultative approach with employees and employers on all benefits offered.

With her account management role at LaPorte, she will work with the sale team to prepare marketing and benefits plan recommendations. She provides daily hands-on service to our clients, offering timely, creative solutions to meet their needs of the employer and employees

Ashley joined LaPorte late 2023 as a Personal Lines Associate Account Manager.  Prior to working with LaPorte Ashley was with Allstate for 2 ½ years.   Ashley is a lifelong Oregonian, born and raised in the Gladstone/Milwaukie area and is a graduate of Gladstone High School.  She spent her college career at Oregon State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a minor in Geography.  Ashley prides herself on being a problem solver and gets things done in a timely and efficient manner.  During Ashley’s free time she enjoys camping, and hiking the Pacific Northwest, riding quads and dirt bikes, and is a proud owner of her black lab RIP.

Gendell started in the insurance industry in the mid -1990’s. Her first job was in sales with Allstate. Since then she has worked with independent agencies for over 20 years in both sales and service in the personal lines field. Now working at LaPorte for more than 14 years, she has blossomed into a valued team player.

She believes because independent agents have a variety of markets to choose from, this offers a better opportunity to find a company which will fit her client’s needs
